GIL CHAGAS
Born in Portugal, graduated in Sociology in Lisbon before working as a cultural producer, musician and translator. From there he migrated to cinema and lived, worked and studied in Italia, Mozambique, Argentina and Brazil where he spent 8 years, developing a career as an assistant director in cinema, series and advertising. As a director he has video clips, institutional videos, advertisements and a short documentary, which some was screened in dozens of festivals around the world and won the best photography award at the Amazon Film Festival in 2017. In 2019, he took his Master's Degree in Film Scriptwriting, Television and Drama at the Autonomous University of Madrid. During the Master's program, he developed the feature film script, "La Soga".
